Deandre Jordan to the Bucks?

There have been many rumors floating around the twitterverse that the Bucks are very interested in trading for Deandre Jordan.  On the outside, a move like this would seem to patch up the Bucks rebounding trouble.  Jordan is averaging 15 rebounds a game this season and also provides some rim protection on the defensive end.  For the sake of this article, I am going to compare Jordan's per 36 numbers to what the Bucks are currently getting out of Thon Maker and John Henson.  Jordan's rebounding per 36 is 16.7 per game.  Thon and Henson combine for 17.1 rebounds per 36.  Just looking at these numbers, you would think that acquiring Jordan is a no brainer move for a team desperately in need of rebounding.  I feel that the issue lies much deeper than individual rebounding numbers from specific players.  A huge reason why Deandre Jordan is able to control the glass, aside from his incredible athletic ability and size, is the fact that the Clippers know how to use him.  The don't have him running around of defense and trapping ball handlers 20 feet away from the rim.  They have him park his butt around the lane and that allows him to clean up the glass.  Jason Kidd has zero clue how to use John Henson and Thon Maker.

If you insert Jordan into this Bucks lineup, I have to imagine his rebounding numbers would go down in Milwaukee due to the fact that Jason Kidd and Sean Pee Boy Sweeney have their centers running around and trapping on defense.  This constantly has their centers out of position to even try and fight for a rebound.  Cuck Boy Kidd has been very vocal about his teams rebounding issues and constantly blames their lack of "energy and effort."  Tune into a game and you will see his 7 foot centers always playing 20 feet away from the hoop, trapping ball handlers and scrambling to get back underneath the hoop.  Competent NBA teams burn this high school defensive scheme with a SIMPLE ball swing that causes the Bucks to be scramble on defense and leaves them out of position.  Kidd want's to create chaos on defense, but far too often he only creates easy looks for the other team and easy rebounding opportunities.  Your team is going to struggle rebounding when your 7 foot centers are 20 feet away from the hoop and you have guys like Khris Middleton and Tony Snell trying to battle down low with opposing teams centers for rebounds.  From the statistical point of view, a trade for Jordan would help the rebounding issues a little, but the problem will always exist if Kidd and the water boy Sweeney are still running this idiotic style of defense.
